PLATOONS AND UNITS
Wargame Oklahoma uses a to scale company-level army structure to organize our players. Each platoon within a company has a unique theme (unit) and purpose on the battlefield which are described below. Players are encouraged to get in touch with their platoon commanders and squad leaders through Facebook and email. The primary goal of all player officers is to ensure that players are safe and having fun.
All player-commanding officers must adhere to the Wargame Oklahoma Officer Standards.
INFANTRY PLATOONS
The infantry are the backbone of any fighting force. Infantry units at Wargame Oklahoma are the largest and most diverse units on the field. There are no additional requirements for players interested in fighting in these front-line units who see the bulk of the fighting. We still encourage all players to join their faction groups on Facebook.
AIRBORNE PLATOONS
Airborne units are troops who deep strike into the field to swiftly capture objectives, flank enemy formations, or react to previous contact. Players interested in the airborne must be at least 15 years old due to the nature of their duties. We highly advise airborne players to contact their commanding officers via Facebook or email.
SPECIAL FORCES PLATOONS
SF players must be 18+ or 16+ with parental, staff, and commanding officer approval. All SF should have prior-milsim or military experience. Due to the nature of their operations, all SF players must get into contact with their commanding officers via email or Facebook or risk being moved into another platoon.
